Today I received a letter saying to pack my bags because I’m going to Spain. In the letter, it told me I was going to be an assistant teacher in an elementary school in a city east of Madrid. I am beyond excited. Woot!
Until next time,

Auxiliar? Tons of resources out there for you. Have a blast; Madrid is wonderful.
YES!!!! We’re you in the program!?
Indeed. Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy yourself.
I will. Did you enjoy yourself?
Immensely. It wasn’t all razzle-dazzle, but the highs outshine the lows.
You know about the Moors?
No, enlighten me.
I should probably write my own thing about this on my blog, but in the mean time this article should enlighten you. It sums it up well. Basically, Black people, Africans of modern day Sudan and Ethiopia, and other parts of Africa, migrated to Europe, around the same time that Christopher Columbus found out how to sail a boat, and they built things and taught ancient wisdom to White people about the rest of the planet.
Really!? That is interesting. I want to do more research. I look forward to reading your blog about this 🙂
My professor, Dr. Kaba Kamene who now works part time at SUNY New Paltz in NY.
I watched most of it. It was interesting. I feel empowered with new information. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Some good ideas buried under some historical inaccuracies in this video.
Where are you from Apoml? Are you still in Spain?
Congratulations! I’ll be at an elementary school in Almuñécar, Granada.
Yes! I’m excited. Go us!
Which small town will be you be in? Just curious. I’m sure you’ll have a great time! Thanks for following my blog 🙂
I will be in a small pueblo 15-20 minutes outside of Alcala de Henares, in Los Hueros.
Hey Chelsea! I’m finally stopping by your blog — I’m so sorry; it’s been LONG overdue! But this is sooo exciting! I know you mentioned it before, but to read about it is muy cool (haha, so I don’t really speak Spanish). It’s going to be a year to remember for sure!
