Lexington Market : A Baltimore Gem

Cool! I was born and raised in Detrot, MI and spent many a happy Saturday in our Eastern Market (as it is called). Just out of curiosity I check out the start date and what do you know, Baltimore has us beat by 100 years! Which surprised me as Detroit is a City that is older than this Country. Thanks for the tour, your market looks like a for sure point of interest during a visit!

Some of those old town markets are real gems. We have the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Don’t overlook the other town markets, either. They’re part of Charm City’s character.
And Seattle brags about Pike Place? Been to both and they’re so different, as we could note comparing the fresh seafood.

  4. Nice Rookie! Was that you I saw dancing to the music in the video….

  6. I’m originally from Baltimore and grew up spending almost every weekend at Lexington Market. It was my favorite spots! I’ve taken it for granted but you’ve made me excited about it again. I didn’t realize it was such a historical gem. Time to go back to good ole Baltimore for a visit! Great post!
