Hey Travelers! In this article and video, I am going to share my initial impressions of Brazil. Having recently arrived in this vibrant country, I want to discuss the aspects that have left a strong impact on me. Brazil, while not my home country, has already started to feel like a second home. I feel so blessed to be here. I never would have imagined that I would have the opportunity to live here.
One of the most striking aspects of my experience in Brazil so far is the incredibly friendly and welcoming nature of the people here. Whether it’s seeking assistance in a store or just engaging in casual conversations, Brazilians have consistently gone out of their way to help and make me feel at home.
Coming from Baltimore, Maryland, where summers can be hot and humid, I find Brazil’s climate somewhat familiar. You can’t miss the heat and humidity here! One thing I am doing differently in Brazil is constantly running dehumidifiers to prevent mold from getting on my stuff.
One of the most enriching aspects of Brazil is its cultural diversity. The population of Brazil has significant descendants from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, making it a truly multicultural society. It’s cool to see such a diverse place.
The food in Brazil is so good. I love the meats and fruits here! The quality of the meat, with its tenderness and juiciness, has been a wonderful surprise. Additionally, the freshness and flavor of the local fruits have left a lasting impression on my palate.
These are just a few of my initial impressions of this beautiful country. This country has already begun to feel like a second home to me, and I am eager to explore and learn more about its rich culture and diverse landscapes in the future.
