Write down important addresses and survival phrases. This is especially important if the language uses a different alphabet or characters.
Before you go overseas, be sure to download an app that will help you speak the language.
You may get flustered and that’s totally normal. But remember to be patient.
If you are there long enough, remember you’re a guest. Learning the language of your target country can help you integrate better. And even if you’re in your host country for a few days, knowing a few key phrases can go a long way with the locals.
